Lab Technician (Beverages Lab)
Manufacturing | Mwanza
Responsibilities:
· Performs routine lab tests on raw materials & finished beverages.
· Monitors pH, sugar, CO₂, & microbiological indicators.
· Calibrates lab equipment for accurate results.
· Maintains records & prepares quality reports.
· Supports production in resolving quality deviations.
· Ensures compliance with food safety standards.
· Contributes to continuous improvement of QA systems.
Requirements:
· Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
· 1–2 years’ experience in food/beverage labs.
· Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and QC practices.
· Strong analytical, reporting, & problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
