DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide nursing care and vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications and perform basic treatments under the guidance of senior staff.
• Observe and document patient conditions, vital signs, and any changes in their health status.
• Perform various medical procedures within your level.
• Educate and counsel patients about health care plans, conditions, medications, and disease prevention.
• Maintain infectious prevention control (IPC), 5S, and hygiene management of patient care units.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and prepare reports as per regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and assist in managing duty rosters (for ANO).
• Escort patients during referrals.
• Perform other duties assigned by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
For Assistant Nursing Officer (ANO):
• A Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
• Possess a valid practicing license.
• A minimum working experience of two years.
• Experience in occupational health/industrial medicine.

For Enrolled Nurse (EN):
• A Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) is mandatory.
• Possess a valid practicing license.
• A minimum working experience of two years.
• Experience in occupational health/industrial medicine.
