JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT (RE-ADVERTISED)
Kahama Municipal Council, through the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, has received the Guideline for the management of pharmacies operated by Public Health Service Delivery Centers, of May 2021.
Therefore, the Kahama Municipal Director announces to qualified and interested Tanzanians to apply for these positions at Kahama Municipal Council, starting from 09 September, 2025.
1.0 ASSISTANT PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIST – (04) POSITIONS TGHS A
To be hired, one must have a certificate in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology from a Government-recognized college, be registered by the Pharmacy Council, and possess a license.
1.0.1 APPLICANT'S QUALIFICATIONS
Must have Form Four or Form Six Education, with a Certificate in the following field:
- Pharmaceutical Technologist
1.0.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ASSISTANT PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGIST
(i) To prepare the needs and usage of medicines and medical supplies.
(ii) To order, store, and dispense medicines and medical supplies in their work area.
(iii) To prepare reports on the use of medicines and medical supplies.
(iv) To keep records of medicines and medical supplies.
(v) To perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills.
1.0.3 SALARY SCALE
Based on the Government salary scales of TGHS A1 per month.
1.0.7 GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ALL JOBS
i. The applicant must be a Tanzanian Citizen aged between 18 and 45.
ii. The applicant must attach a copy of their birth certificate.
iii. Applicants must attach a comprehensive personal profile (Detailed C.V) with a reliable address and phone number, along with the names and phone numbers of three reliable referees.
iv. All applications must be accompanied by copies of educational and professional certificates from Government-recognized institutions, certified by a Lawyer or Commissioner for Oaths.
v. Testimonials, provisional results, and statement of results will not be accepted.
vi. All applicants who have studied outside the country must ensure their certificates are verified by TCU or NACTE.
vii. Applicants must attach one recent passport-size photograph.
viii. The application letter should be written in Swahili or English.
ix. The deadline for submitting applications is 17 September, 2025.
